BlogImage.io Terms of Service

These terms of service (hereinafter referred to as "Terms") are intended to regulate the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between Investudy (hereinafter referred to as "Company") and members, as well as other necessary matters relating to the use of the BlogImage.io service (hereinafter referred to as "Service") provided by the Company.

Article 1 (Definition of Terms)

  1. "Service" refers to BlogImage.io and all related services provided by the company.
  2. "Member" refers to a customer who has entered into a usage agreement with the company in accordance with these Terms and uses the service provided by the company.
  3. "Account" refers to the email address selected by the member and assigned by the company for member identification and service use.
  4. "Pro Plan" refers to paid additional features within the service that members can use by paying a certain fee to the company.

Article 2 (Display, Effect, and Amendment of Terms)

  1. The company displays these Terms in a way that members can easily see through the initial screen of the service website or a linked screen.
  2. These Terms take effect when a member agrees to them when signing up for the service.
  3. The company may amend these Terms within the scope not violating relevant laws such as the "Act on the Regulation of Terms and Conditions", "Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection, etc."
  4. When the company amends the Terms, it shall specify the application date and the reasons for amendment and post them on the service website from 7 days before the application date to the day before the application date, along with the current Terms. However, if the Terms are changed unfavorably to members, the company shall give a prior grace period of at least 30 days.
  5. If a member does not agree to the application of the amended Terms, the member may terminate the service usage contract.

Article 3 (Membership Registration and Account Management)

  1. Membership registration is completed when a person who wants to use the service agrees to these Terms, applies for membership according to the procedure set by the company, and the company approves this application.
  2. The company may not approve or subsequently terminate the use agreement for applications that fall under any of the following categories:
    • Use of another person's name
    • Providing false information or failing to provide information required by the company
    • Other cases where use is found to be in violation of these Terms or illegal or improper
  3. Members are responsible for securely managing their account information (email address) and must not transfer it to or allow it to be used by others.

Article 4 (Collection and Protection of Personal Information)

  1. The company collects and uses only the member's email address as the minimum personal information necessary for service provision.
  2. The company does not store or collect user data such as photos and images that members upload or process through the service on the company's servers. All image-related processing takes place in the member's local device environment.
  3. The company safely protects the collected member's personal information, including email addresses, and detailed information on the collection, use, provision, and protection of personal information follows the "Privacy Policy" separately established by the company. Article 5 (Provision and Change of Service)

  1. The company provides the following services to members:
    • Image processing functions (details specified within the service)
    • Additional features exclusive to Pro Plan members
    • All other services provided to members through additional development or partnership agreements by the company
  2. The company may change all or part of the services being provided according to operational or technical needs if there is a substantial reason.
  3. If there are changes to the content, usage method, or usage time of the service, the reasons for the change, the content of the service to be changed, and the provision date will be posted in a way that members can fully recognize, such as on the notice board screen within the service, before the change.

Article 6 (Pro Plan and Payment)

  1. "Pro Plan" is a service that members can use for a fee, and its details and price are specified on a separate page within the service:
    • Monthly subscription: USD $1.90 per month
    • Annual subscription: USD $15.00 per year (discount applied)
  2. The usage fee for the Pro Plan must be paid in advance through a payment agency (e.g., Paddle) designated by the company. Unless a member expresses intent to cancel automatic renewal when subscribing to the Pro Plan, the subscription is automatically renewed according to the specified period (monthly or annual), and fees are charged. Members can cancel automatic renewal for the next billing cycle at any time through the management page of the payment agency (Paddle) they use.
  3. Members can cancel their Pro Plan subscription at any time. Even if the subscription is canceled, they can continue to use the Pro Plan service until the expiration date of the already paid subscription period, and after that period expires, the use of Pro Plan features will be restricted.
  4. Refund Policy: Considering that the usage fee for the Pro Plan is set very low, the subscription fee that a member has completed payment for is, in principle, non-refundable. This applies except in exceptional cases such as when withdrawal of subscription is possible under relevant laws like the "Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, etc." Members should make careful decisions before payment.Refund Policy:

Article 7 (Obligations of Members)

  1. Members must not engage in the following actions:
    • Impersonation of others
    • Any action that interferes with the company's operation or may hinder the stable operation of the service
    • Infringement of the company's intellectual property rights, third-party intellectual property rights, or other rights
    • Other illegal or improper actions
  2. Members must comply with relevant laws, the provisions of these Terms, usage guidelines, precautions announced in relation to the service, and matters notified by the company, and must not engage in any actions that interfere with the company's business.

Article 8 (Obligations of the Company)

  1. The company does not engage in actions prohibited by relevant laws and these Terms or contrary to public morals, and makes its best efforts to provide the service continuously and stably.
  2. The company must have a security system for the protection of personal information (including credit information) so that members can safely use the service, and disclose and comply with its privacy policy.
  3. The company must handle opinions or complaints raised by members regarding service use if it recognizes them as legitimate.

Article 9 (Contract Termination and Usage Restrictions)

  1. Members can request termination of the use agreement (withdrawal) from the company at any time, and the company will process it immediately.
  2. If a member falls under any of the following reasons, the company may restrict or suspend membership qualifications or terminate the use agreement:
    • Violation of the obligations under these Terms
    • Intentional interference with the company's service operation
    • Other cases where the company determines, based on reasonable judgment, that there is a need to refuse to provide the service

Article 10 (Disclaimer)

  1. The company is exempt from responsibility for service provision if it cannot provide the service due to force majeure such as natural disasters or equivalent reasons.
  2. The company is not responsible for service usage impediments attributable to the member's fault.
  3. The company is not responsible for the reliability, accuracy, etc. of the information, materials, and facts posted by members in relation to the service.
  4. Since the service is provided in a way that processes images on the member's local device, the company is not responsible for problems or data loss resulting from the member's device environment, lack of data backup, etc. Members are responsible for backing up important data themselves.

Article 11 (Dispute Resolution)

  1. The company and members make necessary efforts to amicably resolve disputes arising in relation to the service.
  2. Despite the efforts in the preceding paragraph, if a lawsuit is filed regarding a dispute, the court with jurisdiction over the company's address shall be the exclusive agreed jurisdiction court.
  3. Korean law applies to lawsuits filed between the company and members.

Addendum

  1. These Terms are effective from May 1, 2025.
